Antwerp Township Notice
The most recent Executive Order issued on June, 5th states that any office work that can be successfully completed from home, should continue to be done as such. The township will be making the necessary preparations to allow their return to the office. In the meantime, staff continues to successfully work remotely and at the Township with limited staff on a rotation on site.
As much as we are all eager to return to a more familiar normal, we need to allow time for staff to adjust to the new protocols and more importantly to ensure their safety, security, and peace of mind for the public and employees.
With staff on site we will be able to continue to serve taxpayer needs while still limiting the access to the facility. The interior glass doors will remain locked and any permits, letters, tax payments, or any information can be placed in the drop box which will continue to be checked daily.
Van Buren County Veterans Health Services Program
In conjunction with the Van Buren Cass District Health Department (VBCDHD), Van Buren County is sponsoring Dental Care, Immunizations and Vision/Hearing Examinations to eligible Veterans and their current spouses subject to $1,000 per person after private insurance, if any, is exhausted. A total of $50,000 is available. This program will cease once the $50,000 threshold has been met.
