Credit card payments can’t be made at the Township Hall, but you can make a tax payment online or by phone through Paymentus. Payment Link is https://ipn.paymentus.com/otp/stde/atwp and the automated service can be reached by dialing 1-877-506-3117. They accept payments using: Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Please note that there will be a 2.65% service fee charged for using this service. Your account number is your 12 digit parcel number without the dashes.
Our office is open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Tuesday we will also be available by appointment from 5:00 PM until 6:00PM.

Open Burn Information
Antwerp Township does not have an ordinance pertaining to open burning therefore, we follow the State of Michigan open burn regulations. If you have questions regarding open burn please contact your local fire department. Attached is a link to EGLE’s regulations.
Antwerp Township encourages residents to use the Transfer Station Facility at NO COST, which is located off C.R. 657 and 64th Ave. in Lawton to properly dispose of brush, lawn clippings, tree limbs, leaves, or any other burnable materials.

Van Buren County Veterans Health Services Program
In conjunction with the Van Buren Cass District Health Department (VBCDHD), Van Buren County is sponsoring Dental Care, Immunizations and Vision/Hearing Examinations to eligible Veterans and their current spouses subject to $1,000 per person after private insurance, if any, is exhausted. A total of $50,000 is available. This program will cease once the $50,000 threshold has been met.

Road Commission Launches New Service Request App
Recently the Van Buren County launched SeeClickFix, a new app allowing citizens to report non-emergency road issues. Residents and the motoring public can take a photo of a road issue, such as a pothole, give the location, add a description, and click “submit” to send requests directly to the Van Buren County Road Commission through SeeClickFix.

The Township Supervisor Daniel J. Ruzick works closely with the Van Buren Sheriff’s Department to ensure our ordinances are properly enforced. If you have concerns please contact: Antwerp Township Code Enforcement line at 269.668.2404. Please do not contact the Van Buren County Sheriff Department regarding complaints. Call the number listed above and your complaint will be forwarded to Deputy Scotty Borah.

Van Buren County Recycles! Antwerp Township residents also have access (free of charge) to Transfer Station on 64th Ave/CR 657 and Kalamazoo County Household Hazardous Waste Center. You need a recycling card to use the Transfer Station you can come in and get one at the Township office from 7am-5pm Monday thru Thursday. One card per household -$5 replacement fee.

Tuesday & Friday: 8am – 1pm
Wednesday: Noon -6pm
Second Saturday of the Month (Except August and September): 8am-Noon
